Tanning Bed Supplies – What You Need & Where to Get It
One of the great things about owning your own tanning bed rather than visiting a tanning salon, is how much easier and convenient it is to get a sun tan. After the initial cost of buying or renting a tanning bed, your only real expenses are your tanning bed supplies.
But what supplies do you need? And where should you get them from? This is what I’m going to answer for you today.
Firstly, one of the best places to buy your tanning bed supplies, is from your local tanning bed salon. They should have a range of supplies that will suit all of your needs. And you should be able to get fairly good prices too, although you may be able to save a little money by doing some research online.
The kind of supplies you’ll need will just be the basics like replacement tanning bed bulbs and lamps, goggles, and some tanning bed lotions. Now some of these things you may prefer to get from the tanning salon, such as goggles (so you can try them on first if you need to) or the lamps (to save on shipping costs).
But in most cases, it’s actually much cheaper to buy your supplies from the internet. Because the online stores don’t have to pay for a storefront, you can often make quite a lot of savings. Even when you include the shipping, you’re usually saving money compared to buying from your tanning salon.
Fortunately, there isn’t much you need to buy. Once you’ve got the basics (like goggles, replacement bulbs and lamps) then you only need to keep your tanning lotion stocked up.
It’s cheap to buy this in bulk over the web, or you could easily pop into your local tanning salon to pick up a new bottle whenever you need it. However, I think it’s important to have a large supply. Why? Because then you will ALWAYS have some, and won’t be tempted to tan just for a little while without any tanning lotion.
Using your tanning bed without lotion is a very bad idea, and can increase your risk of skin damage significantly.
So in conclusion, there isn’t many tanning bed supplies you need to buy after the initial purchase of a tanning bed. It’s usually cheaper to get your supplies online, although you may like to view the products in real life first at your tanning salon, to see what exactly you need.
